The driving force behind The Nomad Soul is Georgiana Darau – MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology, Mental Health Counselor, and Intercultural Trainer with over 8 years of experience. She brings a unique blend of expertise and personal experience to her practice. Her journey began with a deep passion for understanding the human mind, which evolved as she navigated her own challenges as an international student abroad. This led her to combine her love for psychology and travel, resulting in the creation of The Nomad Soul – a resource dedicated to self-discovery and self-awareness for expatriates.

With over 8 years of experience in psychology, she offers extensive expertise in mental health counselling, intercultural training, social sciences research, human resources, and cross-cultural management and leadership consulting. 

Georgiana holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Lorraine in France and an Erasmus Mundus Master Joint-Degree in Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion, and Diversity in Society from the GLOBAL-MINDS Consortium, having studied in Poland, Turkey, and Ireland. She is currently pursuing further training to become a certified Integrative Psychotherapist at the University of Derby in the UK following an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Georgiana is a member of well-respected international organisations in psychology and therapy, which help her grow and improve in her profession:
