About The Nomad Soul
The Nomad Soul was created with passion and love to provide support to expats in their journey aborad. The driving force behind The Nomad Soul is Georgiana Darau – MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology, Mental Health Counselor, and Intercultural Trainer with over 8 years of experience. She brings a unique blend of expertise and personal experience to her practice. Her journey began with a deep passion for understanding the human mind, which evolved as she navigated her own challenges as an international student abroad. This led her to combine her love for psychology and travel, resulting in the creation of The Nomad Soul – a resource dedicated to self-discovery and self-awareness for expatriates.

Hi, I'm Georgiana Darau - Integrative Therapist
Finding the right resources as an expat or international student can be challenging. Choosing a therapist who understands the unique nuances of expatriate life is crucial.
As a Social and Cultural Psychologist and Integrative Therapist, I am dedicated to supporting individuals navigating the complexities of life, whether it’s managing anxiety, overcoming depression, healing from trauma, strengthening relationships, or adapting to life transitions.
With extensive experience working across diverse cultural contexts, I bring a nuanced understanding of how personal and cultural dynamics intersect in shaping our mental health.
My approach to therapy is integrative and deeply personalized. I believe that no two journeys are the same, and there’s no “one-size-fits-all” solution in therapy. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals, fostering a collaborative process to promote growth and healing.
Creating a safe and supportive space is at the heart of my practice. My goal is to provide an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your emotions, confront challenges, and discover strategies to thrive.
Whether you're facing challenges rooted in personal struggles, relational dynamics, or cross-cultural transitions, I am here to help you navigate these complexities with compassion and expertise.
